Drawings of Summer Clouds - Growing Toward the Heavens

Weather varies heavily by region, but have you ever seen huge towering clouds? Their scientific name is Cumulonimbus clouds, and they’re usually responsible for thunderstorms or heavy rain. In Japan, you’ll see them most often in summer.

Today we know clouds are simply water vapor, but it’s easy to see how such dramatic forms in the sky could spark the imagination. Could something be lurking within, causing all that rain, thunder, and lightning?
