Are you familiar with Golden Kamuy? This popular manga is approaching its last chapters and rose to popularity once again in Japan after the publishing company made it available to read for free online for a limited period of time. The anime is available for streaming on Crunchyroll.

The story takes place in Hokkaido, after the Russo-Japanese War. Saichi Sugimoto, aka Immortal Sugimoto, is a former soldier in need of a large amount of money to carry out a promise he made to a dying fellow. He soon learns about a group of ex-convicts who are tattooed with pieces of a map leading to a huge amount of gold. At the start of his journey, he meets Asirpa, a young Ainu girl who teaches him about nature and hunting, and introduces him to the Ainu culture.
