Fan Art of the Mejiro family from Umamusume: Pretty Derby

On May 20, 2022, Mejiro Palmer made her debut as a trainable character in the megahit mobile game Umamusume: Pretty Derby and we've collected fan art for every member of the Mejiro clan to help her celebrate!

Who are the Mejiros?

The Mejiro family is one of the most prestigious and affluent families in the equine girl world and has produced many generations of athletic horse girls. The family is modeled after Mejiro Farm, a former real-life racehorse breeding farm.

Canonically, the Mejiro name is one that is widely known throughout the horse racing community, and many of their girls have made names for themselves since their enrolling in Tracen Academy, both in and outside of its walls. The family also seems to frequently hold major events, such as parties to allow trainers and the girls to interact with each other.

Mejiro Palmer has already attracted the attention of many. She runs her races as if she were flying through the sky, although she sometimes seems a bit troubled. An April Fool’s Day project called “Mejiro Family Afternoon Party” and its accompanying song, “Hymn to Mejiro”, were praised by many for the production quality.

Mejiro McQueen

Highly talented and capable, her elegant dignity and hard-working personality make her the envy of many of the horse girls. She has a bit of a sweet tooth, but also gains weight easily, so she’s constantly falling into a diet cycle to stay in shape for her races.

Mejiro Ryan

Despite her pedigree, her vivacious personality has earned her the respect of the Mejiro family and many of her fans. Her hobbies include strength training and being sporty, but she also has a sensitive side and a desire to be seen as cute.
