Blossoming love and self-discovery are at the very heart of Bloom Into You, a yuri manga series created by Nio Nakatani in April 2015. Serialized in Dengeki Daioh, a shonen manga magazine, this touching story has gone on to inspire an anime series, a novel, and even a stage production that hit stages again in Japan in November 2022.

Yuu Koito is a first-year high school student who finds the concept of romantic love eludes her, turning down a confession from an old classmate. After seeing second-year student council member Touko Nanami turn down a confession as well, Yuu believes that they were of the same mind when it came to romance and the two begin to hit it off.

What unfolds from there is a soft, romantic story revolving around Yuu, Touko, and Touko’s best friend Sayaka Saeki, who also harbors feelings for Touko.

This lovely coming-of-age romance story has enchanted fans the world over thanks to it being translated into a number of languages including, English, Korean, French, Spanish, and more.
