The Dangers in My Heart is a manga created by Norio Sakurai that is currently being serialized in the magazine Manga Cross. It is a romantic comedy that features loner Kyotaro Ichikawa and popular girl Anna Yamada as they grow closer.

The manga has sold over 3 million copies and an anime adaption of this series started airing in April 2023. It nabbed the top spot for the "Most Up-and-coming Manga 2020: Web Manga Category" (次にくるマンガ大賞 2020 Webマンガ部門) and also ranked high in the "This Manga is Amazing: Boys Edition" (このマンガがすごい！オトコ編) awards!

This opposites-attract story between Kyotaro and Anna really kicks off after Kyotaro sees Anna in the library, where absolutely nothing unusual happens and everything is fine. (It's opposite day!)
