Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is a manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, currently serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday.

Frieren, an elven mage who has lived for over a thousand years, was part of the heroic team that vanquished the Demon King in a decade-long battle. After saying goodbye to Himmel, the main hero of their group, Frieren sets out on a quest to better understand humans. The story picks up after their triumphant battle against the Demon King, exploring Frieren's subsequent adventures, the people she meets, and the feelings that come with her extraordinarily long life compared to humans.

On Friday, September 29th, the anime premieres with a two-hour special on Nippon Television's Friday Roadshow (some regions might not air it). Interestingly, this marks the first time a TV anime series has debuted on the renowned Friday Roadshow.
