Whether it’s action or slice of life, all anime and manga with a young student-age cast will feature at least a scene or two in a classroom. With their rows of cookie-cutter furniture, blackboards, and dull color palettes, classrooms are pretty unremarkable as far as interior design goes. Once populated, however, they suddenly come to life and become the perfect stage for pivotal scenes. A lone character in a classroom can signify a turning point in their life, while a classroom full of people can convey a fun and lively atmosphere.
