[Pokémon x Hatsune Miku] Fan Art of “PokéMiku” (Part 3) - The Whole Gang Is Here!

The final installation of this legendary collaboration between renowned virtual idol Hatsune Miku and the beloved Pokémon franchise is finally here!

PokéMiku, officially known as “Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE 18 Types/Songs”, is an official collaboration between Pokémon and Hatsune Miku that was announced on August 31, 2023, Hatsune Miku’s 16th anniversary. In this project, six illustrators have created designs based on the idea of: “What if Hatsune Miku was a __-type Pokémon trainer?” These designs cover all 18 types of Pokémon ranging from Normal-type to Fairy-type. Check out the hashtags “ProjectVOLTAGE” and “PokéMiku” to be wowed by gorgeous fan art from our incredibly talented pixiv users!

Additionally, 18 popular Vocaloid producers, such as DECO*27 and PinocchioP, have each created a song for this project using BGM and sound effects from the Pokémon franchise. Don’t miss these special music videos featuring Hatsune Miku singing and dancing with your favorite Pokémon!

In Part 3 of this fanart series, we’ll be showcasing the remaining six types of PokéMiku art, namely Poison-type Miku x Toxtricity, Ghost-type Miku x Mismagius, Dark-type Miku x Obstagoon, Steel-type Miku x Jirachi, Fighting-type Miku x Sirfetch’d, and Dragon-type Miku x Miraidon.

Heads up, rhythm game enthusiasts! The smash-hit mobile game HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE!, also known as Project Sekai in Japan, will soon celebrate its 3rd anniversary since its initial release on September 30, 2020! Featuring many iconic Vocaloid songs, the game takes you on a melodious journey through multiple mysterious worlds (sekai) that exist as many as human emotions. Triggered by an empty song titled "Untitled" that lacks both sound and lyrics, the story is all about finding your "true feelings". Led by none other than virtual singers like Hatsune Miku, this game's appeal is as catchy as the Vocaloid tunes it features.

On September 16th and 17th, 2023, a live stage event called "Project SEKAI 3rd Anniversary Thanksgiving Festival" is set to take place to commemorate the game's third anniversary. Fans worldwide can catch this event live, as it's slated to be streamed in theaters across Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Korea. Let's just say the beat goes on and you won't want to miss what's coming next!

Today it’s been 14 years since the release of VOCALOIDs Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len were released. They’ve been featured in many different songs with fans all around the world.

Their initial concept was that the vocals would be considered a pair, with the twin voices of a girl and her mirror image. Officially, they’re neither siblings nor lovers, which opens the realm of possibilities when using them both simultaneously in artwork, songs, etc.

Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku is a rhythm game for smartphones. It was released on September 30th, 2020. Many famous Vocaloid songs are featured within the game. The mysterious “sekai” that form the stages are as plentiful as human emotions. The song “Untitled” has neither words nor sound. Hatsune Miku and the other Virtual Singers are on a mission to help the player find their “true feelings”.

This is a compilation of fan art from Project Sekai. On August 31st, national virtual idol Miku Hatsune celebrated her ninth anniversary! Music and animation producers HoneyWorks’s exhibition, Zutto Mae Kara Suki Deshita ~Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai~ HoneyWorks Exhibition! is now ongoing at pixiv Zingaro, a collaborative gallery between pixiv and Kaikai kiki! HoneyWorks, otherwise known as Haniwa is an creator group that produces their own original VOCALOID songs, illustrations and animations. They have received more than a hundred million views in total, with many coming from the love song series, Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai, that received favorable reviews from high school students. In this exhibition, find out more about part 2 in this series, Suki Ni Naru Sono Shunkan Wo ~Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai~, which will have its roadshow on December 17th (Sat).
