On April 16th, 2021, the “Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet” film hit theaters. This movie marks the 24th film in the series (also called “Case Closed” abroad). Shuichi Akai is an FBI investigator known to help the protagonist, Conan Edogawa. In the film, all members of Akai’s family appear together, which is exciting for fans.
What is the Akai Family?
A family in the “Detective Conan” series. The whereabouts of the family patriarch, Tsutomu Akai, are unknown. Mary Sera, his wife, has also been aged down due to a drug administered by the Black Organization. She has British heritage. The eldest son of the family, Shuichi Akai, is a sniper for the FBI. Shukichi Haneda is the second son, and is a professional shogi player. Masumi Sera is the eldest daughter of the family, and is a high school student detective. The family is referred to as the Akai Family.
