Colors Series: Mizu-iro, Shades of Blue
In traditional Japanese culture, mizu-iro (水色) means ‘color of water’ and is considered light blue in the Western world. In summer scenes, the darker shade of light blue gives a cool and refreshing atmosphere. Sharper shades of light blue that borders on white or gray would remind me of the skies in winter. Light blues are used in fashion to make the wearer look cool, intellectual or even dependable!
