A “lamp” is a tool that regales our eyes with soft light and it comes in many shapes; one that is made of a tinted glass in mosaic patterns, one covered by a star-shaped lampshade, or one encased in a lantern with a handle attached to it. If you spot a lamp decorated with intricate ornaments, you’ll feel humanity’s age-old obsession with this particular device that sheds light in the darkness. Nowadays, fluorescent lamps and LED lights illuminate our city, but a more natural and warmer sort of gleam produced by lamps that use gas, oil, or candles have a healing effect on our mind.
Today, we’re featuring illustrations of “lamps” that illuminate their surroundings with gentle light. Enjoy!
