You aren't the one I want to see...! "The presence in the background" Drawings

The tag “the presence in the background” (後ろの存在感) is used when an illustration is deemed bizarre in the sense that whatever is behind the main subject oozing a much bigger presence that commands our attention. The main subject situated at the front side of the illustration may be a hottie, a beauty, or a cutie--basically, a presence that is lovely and wonderful--but the surreal figure in the background is the one that manages to snatch our heart, much to our dismay.
