Hypnosis Mic pixiv DIVISION BATTLE: Announcing the Winner!

We will now announce the winner of the pixiv contest Hypnosis Mic pixiv DIVISION BATTLE which started on September 3 (Mon).

What is pixiv DIVISION BATTLE?

It refers to a contest held on pixiv of the smash hit project Hypnosis Mic. The contest was comprised of two heated battles:

・Hypnosis Mic pixiv DIVISION BATTLE ILLUSTRATION SIDE allows participants to vote for their favorite division by submitting illustrations or catchphrases.

・Hypnosis Mic pixiv DIVISION BATTLE LYRICS SIDE allows participants to vote for their favorite division by submitting lyrics (sentences).

An entry is worth 5 points and a bookmark is worth 1 point. This contest is a battle among the divisions to become the one that has the largest amount of points. All right then, which division does pixiv belong to!?

The answer is SHIBUYA DIVISION! This division ranks 1st after having secured a total of 85,564 points. Congratulations!

Shibuya division won the contest!

As soon as the contest began, Shibuya Division immediately overpowered the other divisions. It earned the support of 906 illustrations and 294 lyrical entries. There's a gap worth more than 10,000 points between Shibuya and Ikebukuro divisions, further cementing Shibuya division's position as the winner of this contest.

You probably still remember Battle Season, a project held in Spring 2018 where the divisions faced each other off on their respective albums. And you probably still remember that the winners back then were Yokohama and Shinjuku divisions. While Shibuya and Ikebukuro divisions must have resented the results of the battle seasons, they were able to regain their honor by securing the first and second ranks of this contest.

Unfortunately for Yokohama division, the total points that it earned led it to the 4th place. However, Yokohama division actually ranks 1st in terms of the number of lyrical entries and bookmarks. These guys refused to lose without a fight!

The winning entries of this contest will be displayed at the venue of Hypnosis Mic's 3rd live (titled Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- 3rd LIVE @Odaiba《韻踏闘技大會》(lit. rhyming skill big assembly)).
