Plum blossoms begin blooming quietly during the difficult times of winter.

Compared with cherry blossoms and peach blossoms, plum blossoms give a more moderate impression when they bloom. And yet, what is attractive about them is that they look like they give a gracious blush to the white snow.

In the language of flower, red plum means "grace" while white plum means "elegance". Both definitions perfectly describe the plum blossoms.
