Yandere Trance
In Japanese, "Yandere" is taken from two words: "Yamu/Yami" which means "to be sick" and "Dere" which means "sweet/affectionate". Yanderes are so taken by the object of their affections that they become sick and become negatively crazy.
Today's Spotlight is about that yandere pose you always see, which in Japanese is described as an entranced yandere expression. It was first made famous from the first episode of Mirai Nikki and the heroine Yuno Gasai made this pose. It's an expression that doesn't look fitting of a middle school student and made a huge impact.
Here are characters all in the same pose!
