Did you see the fireworks shows this summer? In Japan, there's three large annual fireworks compeitions in Akita, Ibaraki, and Niigata prefectures. They are Japan's three largest fireworks shows and in one night could shoot up as many as 20,000 fireworks! In recent years, fireworks technology has advanced and can have more complicated colors and designs... and can even be aided by computers! There are loves of awesome fireworks related illustrators on pixiv! In Japan, people wear yukata (light kimono) and like to go on dates with their favorite person to the fireworks shows.
