Are you a Jujutsu Kaisen fan yet? In January 2021 the anime has resumed, the second half of the first season now airing in Japan. And the manga is gaining more and more popularity with the prequel, Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School.

The prequel takes place before Yuuji swallowed Sukuna's finger, which is what set things in motion in Jujutsu Kaisen. The story hinges around Yuuta Okkotsu, who joins the school after he's faced with some strange events following the death of his first girlfriend Rika Orimoto, and the curse she left behind. At school, Yuuta meets his classmates (whom you might recognize from the series): Maki Zen'in, Toge Inumaki, and Panda (?!). Together, they practice Jujutsu sorcery as they prepare to face the most feared Special Grade Sorcerer, Suguru Geto.

This prequel is giving fans some unexpected stories and takes on the characters they have grown to love watching in Jujutsu Kaisen, like Satoru Gojo, and has them asking for more.
