The satisfying crunch of a fresh apple, it’s gentle and sweet flavor… It’s no wonder that the forbidden fruit Eve took is usually depicted as an apple. They’ve made appearances in many tales, such as in Snow White, and even have an association with folklore. As such, the apple can easily be used as a dark motif in illustrations.
