Drawings of Back Alleys - A City’s Blindspot
Back alleys are commonly featured in all sorts of media on account of being out of view from the general public. They’re usually not lined with streetlights, making them very dark at night, and their association with trash disposal also gives them an unclean vibe.
Since they’re usually accessways between two buildings, it’s easy for people to pass by without noticing what’s going on down these dark, narrow passages.
Can you think of a scene that takes place in a back alley? Can you think of a non-violent one?
