hololive EN: the Council is in Session - These Ladies Are Out Of This World
Hololive Production (also known as hololive) is a talent agency owned by Cover Corporation that exclusively handles virtual YouTube personalities. They have a robust cast of talents, and it was announced that the second generation of their English-speaking division, hololive Council, would debut in August 2021.
What is the Council?
Also known as hololive English 2nd Generation, the Council is the second (third, if counting Project: HOPE) wave of VTubers under the hololive EN branch. Ahead of its reveal, the hololive English YouTube channel uploaded two teaser videos, narrated by IRyS, which provided background information on this generation's story. Each member of the Council personifies one of the five aspects of the universe: space, nature, time, civilization, and chaos.

Tsukumo Sana
Tsukumo Sana, the Speaker of Space, is the very first concept created by the gods. Space refers to all dimensions and matter in existence, with much left to be discovered by humanity.
Ceres Fauna
The second concept created by the gods is Ceres Fauna, the Keeper of Nature. The horns on her head are actually branches from a special tree. The “nature” she represents is all organic matter that isn’t human.
Ouro Kronii
Ouro Kronii is the Warden of Time, the third concept made by the gods. Humans empowered her by giving more nuanced meanings to moments in time, so she is the most intrinsically linked to humanity.
Nanashi Mumei
Nanashi Mumei, Guardian of Civilization, is the living embodiment of humanity’s progress. As she was made by humans and not the gods, she was free to choose her owl-like appearance.
Hakos Baelz
Hakos Baelz is chaos personified. She is officially the Chairperson of the Council, but she rejects this title (along with her fellow members). She believes rules are meant to be broken and has come to break them all herself.
