Whether an eye is hidden behind bangs or intentionally covered with an eyepatch, it’s easy to find yourself asking all sorts of questions about a character’s backstory when only one eye is visible.
Do they hold any secret power? Is it just for fashion? Does a monocle cost half as much as pair of glasses? We'll never know.
