Released on May 12, 2023, Tears of the Kingdom is the sequel to the beautiful, innovative, and multiple-award-winning The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! It takes all of what made the first release great and makes it even greater! If we sound like a breathless fangirl, so be it! We’re not embarrassed! The 10 million copies sold in the first three days speaks for itself, making it the fastest-selling game for the Nintendo Switch!

Tears of the Kingdom has given some of its most iconic characters a makeover, and pixiv creators have taken note! What do you think of Zelda’s new haircut and Link’s new arm? The latter was a bit of an unexpected kind of glow-up, but we’re not complaining!

Purah returns in this new installment, and has been getting considerable attention with her new look. Ganondorf, of course, is back as well, and new characters like King Rauru are getting their time in the spotlight too!
