Sitting is something we do every day, yet it’s surprising just how many ways there are to do it. Spread your legs apart for a dynamic and assertive pose; close them, and lift your heels slightly to appear more prim and proper; lift one leg and keep the other down… The list goes on and on. Sitting doesn’t always have to be on a chair either—it could be on a swing, a staircase, or even on the rooftop of a derelict building. While some ways of sitting may be less comfortable or worse for your back than others, they all make for interesting compositions to draw.
