If you’ve ever watched people fighting with Japanese swords in movies, you’ll know that these blades can be incredibly deadly. To give an idea of just how sharp they are, a Japanese Iaido master set a Guinness World Record back in 2011 for the smallest object cut by sword when he sliced through a tennis ball at a speed of 708 km/h (440 mph).
