Pokémon Winds & Waves are the brand-new titles in the hugely popular Pokémon series. Lacey is a character who was introduced in The Indigo Disk, the second expansion in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. PokéMiku, officially known as “Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE 18 Types/Songs”, is an official collaboration between Pokémon and Hatsune Miku. In this project, six illustrators have created designs based on the idea of: “What if Hatsune Miku was a __-type Pokémon trainer?” These designs cover all 18 types of Pokémon ranging from Normal-type to Fairy-type. Additionally, 18 songs with accompanying music videos by popular Vocaloid producers such as DECO*27 and PinocchioP are set to be released. Don’t miss this chance to see Hatsune Miku singing and dancing with your favorite Pokémon!

The Kingdom Hearts franchise is easily one of the most recognizable and notable games, at least in part due to it being a collaboration between Square Enix and the Walt Disney Company.

The first installment was released in March 2002 on the Playstation 2, and since then over 32 million copies of the various games have shipped worldwide across a multitude of platforms. Most recently, Nintendo Switch ports for the vast majority of the Kingdom Hearts games were announced in October 2021.

While the story of this dearly beloved series is a bit convoluted at times, it hasn’t stopped Sora, Riku, Kairi, and the rest of the characters from capturing the hearts of the players. So much so that Sora is finally being added to the roster of heroes in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which was also announced in October 2021!

“Monster Hunter Rise”, the latest installment in the “Monster Hunter” franchise, was released on March 26th, 2021. Have you caught anything in this year’s open season?

The player starts in Kamura Village, which is in a Japan-inspired low fantasy world. You’ll have to handle a phenomenon known as “the Rampage”, in which you must face a large number of monsters. In addition to many well-known monsters, new ones featured include Magnamalo, Aknosom, and Great Izuchi. These monsters all have their own allure and require unique methods of hunting.

Apex Legends is a hit FPS battle royale game that was released in 2019. It has over 10 million players worldwide and is scheduled to be released on the Nintendo Switch on March 10th, 2021. The game was created by Respawn Entertainment (famous for their Titanfall series). It features a cast of characters, called “Legends”, which all have their own unique set of skills and abilities. The player selects one of these characters and joins a 3-person team. At the end of the match, the surviving members of the last team standing are dubbed the Apex Champions. A particular appeal of this game, as opposed to other Battle Royale-style games, is that the characters not only bring their abilities, but also in-game and episodic interactions between the other Legends.

On February 2nd, 2021, the game has entered Season 8 (titled “Mayhem”). A new Legend named Fuse has been added to the cast and there’s been a surge in Apex Legends fan art. Take a look at these awesome Legends, including Wraith, Bangalore, Wattson, Bloodhound, and Gibraltar!
