When Valentine’s Day was first introduced to Japan, there was supposedly a translation error in the campaign that highlighted the holiday as a day for women to confess their feelings and give men chocolate.

Eventually, White Day was created to keep things fair - the day is for men to give women sweets! What kind is best, do you think? Candy, marshmallows, biscuits… it’s so hard to choose!
