Vapor Trails in the Sky
Vapor trails stretching across the sky as if drawing on a chalkboard. An airplane cutting through the contrasting nature of sky and clouds draws your eye until it finally fades in the distance. They supposedly occur from the sudden cooling of the vapor in the exhaust expelled from the planes’ engines six thousand meters above the earth. It’s cool to think about the same principle as your breath fog in winter happening way up in the sky. The trails change depending on how many engines there are so it’s fun to think about the models that left them from down here on the ground.
We have here today a collection of vapor trail-themed illustrations. Please take a look!
