Goodbye, station master Tama

Tama was appointed to become station master on January 5th 2007. Tama is a female calico cat. The station she was station master of is located at Kishi Station in Kinogawa, Wakayama in Japan. Her duties included greeting passengers and she was paid annually with cat food. After she was appointed station master, the number of riders and tourists increased dramatically. On June 22nd, station master Tama got invited into heaven. At 16, she was about 80 years old if converted to human years.
