The broomstick is famously the mode of transportation of witches and other dealers in the art of magic. While this association between witches and brooms goes back centuries, recent art makes the deed look so wonderfully carefree and exciting that many children have often daydreamed about soaring through the clouds on their very own brooms.

Witch-in-training Kiki (from Kiki’s Delivery Service) has certainly made friends of all of the children in town, thanks in part to her ability to take to the skies on her broom.
