The contrast between white and black has inspired artists throughout history and it’s not hard to see why. This stark difference evokes a sense of duality, a battle between light and dark, good and evil, right and wrong. While we know our world is made up of more varying shades of gray, we can’t help but find ourselves drawn to the neat and clear-cut balance between the two colors – if you can even call them that.
