If you consume a lot of Japanese media, you may be familiar with the term zettai ryouiki (絶対領域; lit. “absolute territory”). Zettai ryouiki refers to the area of exposed skin between a pair of thigh-high socks and a mini skirt or hot pants, with the ideal ratio said to be 1:2.5:4, respectively.
