Staring into the abyss. Beyond the gaze of sitry’s characters

The boys and girls look like they’re staring into the abyss and their eyes tell us about the uncertainty that is plaguing them--these are the kinds of illustrations that ‘sitry’ draws, oppressed with ennui but also some sort of seductiveness.

Skilled in painting, sitry brings about illustrations with a peculiar atmosphere. Although sitry’s illustrations are voluminous in terms of materials, there’s still this kind of mist that covers the illustrations, making them not easy to fully comprehend. Their skin looks like it’ll stick to our finger if we dare touch it, their expression does not let on what’s going inside their head, and the bizarre atmosphere that we can feel through the screen sends our nerves haywire.
