Drawings of Japanese Umbrellas - Fill the sky like lovely blossoms.
A Japanese umbrella is a product of Japanese traditional methods and materials. It's a product that has been passed down through many generations and at one point, the term "karakasa" (paper umbrella) was apparently used to refer to this umbrella. The shaft and ribs are made with bamboo as a material and, unlike Western umbrellas, Japanese umbrellas come with tens of ribs. The figure of an open Japanese umbrella is akin to that of a delicate blossom and the beauty of it complements the four seasons perfectly.
Today we're featuring illustrations of Japanese umbrellas. Enjoy!
