Kinmokusei (金木犀) is a fragrant small tree also known by its scientific name Osmanthus fragrans. The leaves are reminiscent of those of an olive tree, but the flowers are a soft shade of orange, or even yellow, which might be the reason for the character meaning gold (金, kin) in its name.
