After accidentally releasing the sealed mystic Clow Cards from a magical book in her father’s library, Sakura Kinoshita works to put them back in their rightful place with the help of the cards’ guardian, Keroberos.
The 1998 anime series ran for 70 episodes with films released in both 1999 and 2000. The series has also been made into light novels and video games.
In 2016, Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card debuted as a sequel and picked up where the original left off. As of publishing this article, you can watch Clear Card on Amazon Prime, Funimation, and Crunchyroll. The original anime is also available on Netflix!

Humanoid robots known as persocoms are a normal facet of everyday life in Tokyo. After failing his university entrance exam, protagonist Hideki Motosuwa moves from his family’s farm in Hokkaido to the big city. Not long after settling in, he finds an abandoned persocom he names Chii and sets out to not only find out more about her, but to teach her about the world around her. A 27-episode anime series and an additional OVA debuted in 2002.
xxxHOLIC (2003 - 2009)
Kimihiro Watanuki is a high school student with the power to see spirits. He happens upon a shop that claims to grant wishes. The shop’s owner, Yuko Ichihara, agrees to grant his wish on the condition that he temporarily works for her, which is the start of a strange journey that has to be seen to be believed.
Not only has this series been made into both an animated TV series and film, but there was also a live-action TV series debuted in 2013, a stage play production in 2021, and a live-action film is set to hit theaters in April 2022!
Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle (2003 - 2009)
