Fan Art of Characters from Genshin Impact — Mondstadt Edition No. 2 - Breezing Through Encounters
The world of Genshin Impact, miHoYo’s action RPG that has made quite an impact on fans the world over, is exceedingly vast. So much so that we couldn’t fit in all there is to know about the many distinct nations and their people. Today, we’ll continue our series on the seven worlds of Teyvat and let you in on a few of their secrets.
The people of Mondstadt are said to have learned very few things from their Archon, but pull from three symbols; dandelions, flight, and wine, to make part of their trademark as they’ve used them to help establish their nation.
The less-than-hands-on approach of their Archon has led the people of Mondstadt to be mocked as an abandoned nation without rule by the citizens of Liyue and perhaps other nations as well. As an Archon’s power is directly linked to the amount of worship they receive, this makes Barbatos the weakest of the seven deities.
Despite the nation being under the jurisdiction of the Anemo Archon, which is perfect for Anemo characters like Sucrose who makes use of the Catalyst, many of the characters you’ll encounter here wield other Elements as well.
For example, there's Fischl, a Bow-wielding Electro adventurer who actually claims to hail from a world outside of Teyvat, and Bennett, a plucky Sword-wielding Pyro adventurer with a bit of an unlucky streak.
Subservient Claymore-user Noelle uses the power of Geo and her Claymore to help anyone in need.
Then there's Mona, a highly knowledgeable Astrologist who wields the power of Hydro.
Eula, the captain of the Knights of Favonius, Rosaria, a Polearm-wielding nun of the Church of Favionus, and Diona the less-than-enthusiastic bartender all harness the power of Cryo.
You’re sure to encounter all sorts of interesting and uniquely-skilled characters on your journey throughout Mondstadt. Do you have an affinity for any in particular?
