Iono is a character in the upcoming and highly anticipated release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Along with the game, Iono herself has created quite a buzz recently.

Iono is Levincia City’s Gym Leader in the Paldea Region.

She’s not only a top-notch Electric-type Pokémon Trainer, but she’s also a famous influencer known all across Paldea as the host of “The Iono Zone”, her very own show where she takes on the title of the “Supercharged Streamer”.

She’s a bright and cheerful girl with some unique speech patterns and catchphrases like, “Your eyeballs are MINE—caught in my Electroweb!”

She’s almost always accompanied by her longtime partner Pokémon, Bellibolt, an Electric-type frog-like Pokémon that’s more than meets the eye.

Her exploits as Gym Leader are usually broadcast for her adoring fans and she makes sure to see just how many have tuned in and subscribed to her channel.

Iono officially made her debut in a video posted on October 12, 2022, that was meant to depict one of her many livestreams. In it, she played a game with the audience called, "Who's Iono's partner? I'unno!", in which she gave clues about what her partner Pokémon was and left it to the audience to figure it out.

The show drew a huge response with its psychedelic and cute appearance as well as its vivacious and cheerful personality. Pokémon fans were instantly charmed by the Supercharged Streamer.

She is also very popular on pixiv, and it looks like her popularity will continue to grow as the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet grows ever closer.
