Fan Art of Akira Toriyama’s Works - Thank You for Everything, Sensei

Renowned Japanese manga artist and character designer Akira Toriyama, known for his works such as Dr. Slump, the Dragon Quest series, and most of all, Dragon Ball, passed away on March 1st, 2024, at the young age of 68. Decorated a Chevalier of the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2019 for his notable contributions to the arts, Toriyama was a major influence in the manga and anime world, and his works are greatly attributed to the rise of anime’s popularity in the West.

In loving memory of Toriyama sensei, we have collected a series of fan art from all over the world celebrating his characters. Although he may no longer be with us, his legacy continues to live on.
