Due to their symbolism, graveyards are an interesting setting for many stories and artwork. During the night, they can appear sinister due to their associations with macabre rituals (pesky necromancers!), whereas during the day, they can be a peaceful place where people pay respects to their loved ones and bid them farewell for what may be the very last time.
