The second pixiv Ambassador Project - Giving Korean and Taiwanese creators a chance to rediscover the joy of creativity again!
For approximately four months, starting from November 2025, pixiv held the second pixiv Ambassador Project to further energize creative activities!
The pixiv Ambassador Program is an initiative in which professional creator ambassadors use social media and online connections to think of themes that inspire creativity, host various illustration submission events, and actively share their professional expertise.
Following the success of the first phase in early 2025, which received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants, we decided to launch the second phase.
This time, to share the joy of creation with an even wider audience, we expanded the program’s scope beyond Korea and Taiwan to include creators from Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
In this article, we’ll introduce the submission themes from our ambassadors in South Korea and Taiwan, along with a selection of outstanding entries.
Please note that we’ll be featuring our ambassadors from Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand) and details about the project in a separate article at a later date.
■ pixiv Ambassadors from South Korea (alphabetical order)
- aLFie
An illustrator and instructor from South Korea.
While teaching at Raum Academy, he also takes on numerous freelance projects in game development and illustration. He is actively involved in doujin activities and mentoring, and is also very active as an instructor.
- BANGSOM
A freelance illustrator from South Korea.
They have worked on freelance projects and collaborations with various game companies. They showcase a wide range of artistic expressions in their original works and participate in events around the world.
- chogum
A freelance illustrator from South Korea.
He has worked on freelance commissions and collaborations for various game projects, including Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and Persona 5X. In addition to creating semi-realistic and subculture-related illustrations, as well as backgrounds and character concept art, he also works as an instructor, helping beginners get started with illustration.
- Liz
An illustrator from South Korea.
They create semi-realistic and casual character concept designs and illustrations for the gaming industry. They have now expanded their work to include VTuber-related projects and often share their knowledge and passion for illustration through the Raum Academy YouTube channel and livestreams.
■ pixiv Ambassadors from Taiwan (alphabetical order)
- Ahoi
A freelance illustrator based in Taiwan.
She specializes in character illustrations that make use of a sense of transparency and vivid light and shadow. She has collaborated with brands such as CLIP STUDIO PAINT, NIJISANJI, and Wacom, and shares her illustration techniques through online courses.
- Banshu Omu
An illustrator from Taiwan.
She specializes in illustrations featuring food and animals, and creates works across a wide range of genres. Through her art, she strives to bring joy and happiness to her viewers.
- chichi
An illustrator from Taiwan.
They specialize in creating atmospheric visuals by making effective use of light, shadow, and composition. Through characters’ expressions, poses, and lighting effects, they convey the unique world of their artwork to their audience.
- Suisei Sui
A freelance illustrator from Taiwan.
She creates character illustrations full of warmth and emotion, primarily on Instagram and YouTube. She has experience creating artwork for songs by multiple VTubers and collaborating with various art brands, and strives to convey warmth and storytelling through her work.
- Varlyn
An illustrator from Taiwan.
She started out simply because she enjoyed drawing, but gradually became captivated by the charm of creating characters and expressing light and shadow. Although illustration is not her main profession, she treats her creative work as an important part of her daily life.

It was such a pleasure to collaborate with pixiv on this submission project! I was truly inspired by the diverse interpretations and expressions that emerged from the participants’ works, even when working with the same theme. Seeing illustrations brimming with individuality and imagination reminded me once again of the wonder of creativity. I was also delighted to connect with everyone through livestreams and I am sincerely grateful for this valuable opportunity. I hope that opportunities like this to foster creativity will continue to grow in the future. (BANGSOM)

A final word from the pixiv Ambassador Project staff
First and foremost, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the ambassadors who participated in this project.
We are deeply grateful that you shared the joy of creation in your own unique ways, launched creative initiatives, and resonated with pixiv’s mission to make creative activities even more fun, helping to energize our community.
Through the first phase of this initiative, we witnessed firsthand how the joy of creation spread to many people. Driven by a desire to share this experience with even more regions and creators, we launched the second phase of the project.
This time, in addition to ambassadors from South Korea and Taiwan, we were joined by ambassadors from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, and we were delighted to have many creators from Southeast Asia participate. We were so happy to see so many wonderful works submitted and to witness the joy of creation spreading further. The entire operations team is truly thrilled.
