Announcing the Results of the ComicFiesta 2025 x pixiv Illustration Contest - We are Malaysia.

pixiv partnered with Malaysia's largest doujinshi convention, ComicFiesta, to host the ComicFiesta 2025 x pixiv Illustration Contest, pixiv's first illustration contest centered on Malaysian creators.

The theme for the Original Category was Malaysia. A diverse array of works depicting various aspects of Malaysia emerged, inspired by Malaysian culture, daily life, memories, and love for one's homeland.

The final judging for the Original Category was conducted both online and offline. Online voting was based on the number of pixiv bookmarks on each work, while offline voting took place via sticker voting at the pixiv booth at ComicFiesta 2025.

The ComicFiesta Booth Category allowed any entries related to booth activities, including doujinshi covers, posters, catalogs, promotional illustrations, and more. We received numerous entries of both original and derivative works.

Today, we present the winning entries selected for the ComicFiesta 2025 x pixiv Illustration Contest, along with commentary from the sponsoring companies and pixiv.

The pixiv Taiwan Student Award 2025 is a contest open to high school students, vocational school students, university students (including postgraduate degree students), and youth between the ages of 15 and 22 in Taiwan. Now in its second year, the contest has expanded its number of partner schools, added sponsors, and further enhanced its prizes and award lineup.

This contest is sponsored by Too Marker Products Inc., BOOK☆WALKER TAIWAN, and Gaea Books. Winners will receive prize money and feedback from the judges, along with luxurious prizes such as a Copic Sketch Basic 72-color marker and sketchbook set, BOOK☆WALKER points, gift certificates from Eslite Bookstore, and more. Held in November 2025 to commemorate the launch of pixiv's Thai language support, this contest became a new step in connecting Thai creators to the global creative community. We are pleased to announce the final results of the pixiv Korean Student Illustration Contest 2025, co-hosted by pixiv and Chungkang College of Cultural Industries!

The contest was held from August 25th to October 6th, 2025, open to Korean high school students, vocational school students, and university students (including master’s students and students on leave of absence), with the theme of Dreams.

The 2024 inaugural event was highly praised as a valuable opportunity for Korean students to showcase their potential and talents, and we're delighted that we could hold it again this year.

In particular, a number of new sponsors, including Illustar, COPIC, DIGITALBOOKS, HUION, have decided to join our lineup from last year, making this year's competition an even more fulfilling, wide-scale contest compared to last year.

The winners will be awarded cash prizes along with professional comments by the judges, and luxurious supplementary prizes from each sponsoring company, such as LCD tablets, art supplies, and illustration-related teaching materials.

In addition, there will be a special opportunity for the winning works to be exhibited in Korea.

Springfish Illustration Contest 2025 Results & Comments From the Judges! - [Free Commemorative Digital Art Collection Available]

The Springfish Illustration Contest 2025, jointly organized by Taiwan-based VTuber agency Springfish Studio and pixiv Inc., accepted entries in three categories: Idol, Summer, and Free Creation. The contest invited artists to craft illustrations featuring talents working under the Springfish Studio banner. This was the very first illustration contest in which pixiv collaborated with a Taiwan-based VTuber agency.

Winners will receive cash prizes and exclusive Springfish Studio original merchandise available only through this contest. In addition, the recipients of the pixiv Prize will be offered a commission from pixiv to create an original promotional illustration (valued at 120,000 JPY, approx 8100 USD). All winning works will also be featured on pixivision and included in a commemorative digital art book for the contest.

pixiv implemented its first-ever pixiv Ambassador Project this spring!

From March to June 2025, a number of creators who love pixiv and truly understand the joy of creation were appointed as pixiv official brand ambassadors.

These ambassadors, mostly from South Korea and Taiwan, posted on social media and in online communities to actively share information useful for the creation process, as well as helpful bits of professional know-how.

We also had a number of fun projects designed to inspire more creativity, such as projects for posting works based on a theme, reviewing them on YouTube, live streaming on Discord, and redrawing.

Thanks to the hard work of the pixiv official brand ambassadors, a lot of wonderful works were posted to pixiv in those three months!

In this article, we will introduce the ambassadors and showcase some of the excellent works that can be found on pixiv (chosen by the ambassadors themselves)!

The pixiv US Student Illustration Contest 2025 is an illustration contest hosted by pixiv Inc. for students enrolled in high schools, vocational schools, colleges, and graduate programs in the United States. The aim of the contest is to provide students who love creating artwork with the opportunity to showcase their work globally through pixiv, foster connections with fellow student creators, and receive feedback from professional illustrators.

Award-winning artists received prize money and judge feedback. Additionally, 1st place winners in each division were presented with a Copic Sketch 72 Colors Set A & Copic Sketch Book L size, the left-hand controller Orbital2 Creative Console, and the art book "EYE YONEYAMA MAI," provided by our sponsor PIE International.

A special prize, the Comic Art Editorial Award, was also established. Winners of this award will be featured in PIE COMICS’ serialized content "PICKUP! Creator."

Announcing the Results of pixiv’s Korean Student Illustration Contest 2024 - What astounding young talent!

The pixiv Korea Student Illustration Contest 2024, open to Korean high school students, vocational school students, and university students (including master’s students), or young people between the ages of 16 and 22, was held from August 7th, 2024 to September 20th, 2024. This was the first time that pixiv was able to hold an illustration contest for students living in Korea, thanks to the support of the Chungkang College of Cultural Industries, Korea’s first specialized cultural industry program that trains cultural content specialists, as well as the college’s animation school.

In addition to cash prizes and constructive feedback from the judges, winners will have their works featured on pixiv’s official YouTube channel and pixiv’s creative media site, pixivision. Winning entries will also be exhibited at Illustrator Fest 6, a Korean subculture event scheduled to be held in February 2025. Finally, winners will receive a copy of the “NEO RETRO ILLUSTRATIONS” art book by company sponsor PIE International.

After a thorough review process of nearly 500 entries, the winners have finally been decided.

In addition to cash prizes and accolades from the judges, winners will have their works featured in ARTISTS IN TAIWAN, an upcoming art book put together by the pixiv team, as well as pixiv’s official YouTube channel and pixivision.
