Drawings of New Year’s - Welcoming a New Year (Finally!)

Happy New Year!

This is a collection of drawings with a New Year theme to kick off 2021. They feature some aspects of Japanese culture, including hatsumode (first shrine visit of the year) and furisode (a kind of long-sleeved kimono worn by young women). You may not have had many chances to go out and see such splendor in person last year - and maybe even this year as well. So feast your eyes on these wonderfully vibrant illustrations.
